Welcome to the Legal Indexing SIG.
This group, an affiliate of the American Society for Indexing, is for indexers who are interested in legal indexing. SIG membership is open
to any member of ASI or any of the other indexing societies worldwide. We offer a Find an Indexer page to make it easier for clients to find you, a listserv where we can exchange information or ask questions. We promote continuing education through networking and workshops.

The annual dues is $20.00 and you
can start your membership application process by completing the form below. This SIG is member supported and all monies are
used exclusively for the benefit of the SIG.

Mission:
1. Provide members with a networking
forum for information exchange. It will be a place to ask any and all indexing questions related to legal indexing.
2. Assist with professional development.
This will be accomplished by allowing legal indexers to interact with each other, support each other, and offer trainings
related to legal indexing at chapter or national conferences or other venues.
3. Coordinate marketing to publishers
and job referrals. The discussion board will be a place where legal indexers can post information about job leads or publishers.
4. Offer a place for peer reviews
of legal indexes, which will help develop the skill level among members.
5. Give back to the community of
indexers. As a group, we can offer more than we can individually.
